My work follows the pause found in little moments, in vulnerability with oneself and one another. Shame, intimacy, vulnerability, fear, isolation, companionship. My work is an attempt to capture the spark held within a look, a touch, a body.

I explore my work as an extension of self. The body is a critical component of all that I make. Every moment is retained in a project’s physicality. It marks that I have been here and records moments that I will not remember. In this same way, my body records my history, every scar is evidence of my growth. I am what I make. But in this way I am incomplete, my flesh will change, my fabric will change.

As a comics artist, I follow this same practice. Following the mundane, silly, and beautiful nature of everyday life. My work focuses on personal slice-of-life narratives.
